NIGHT WALKER 1ST BRAINSTORM SESSION
The 1st Brainstorm Session for Night Walker 2005 was held in Akabane on Sunday 21st of August from 6pm to 8pm. The main topics that were discussed can be seen below this post. Although only a small attendance for the first session it was productive with a number of issues and suggestions made.
Each timeline was brainstormed with the following important notes made for each timeline:
Timeline 1: The Car Ride; shock, reason fo the crash?, safety, the crow causes the crash, anticipation building!
Timeline 2: The Coma; pain, fear, blurry, impossibility, lonely, dark, irregularities, strange!
Timeline 3: The Real Time; hope, lights, technology, fixed camera (tripod), machines, needles.
Timeline 4: The Past (flashbacks); first love, games, childhood memories, b-days, Xmas, presents.
Timeline 5: The Crow; attacking, eating trash (morning), flying, crying, strength, intelligence.
These notes (input) will be analysed by the directors and used to improve the script and the overall idea in order to make a better film. The idea of the brainstorming sessions is to involve all members of the crew in the hope that their input can be part of the creative process and in the end, make it more of a "peoples" film.
With that in mind, the Directors would like to send out a warm welcome to all crew and STRESS the importance of attendance to the following brainstorming sessions! The next one will be held this Sunday (28th) at the same place (Akabane Kaikan) and we hope to see more of you there!!!
Finally the production team is looking for the following locations so, if you can help find them or know someone who can, please let us know ASAP so we can get the ball rolling...
Locations required: 1) A foriegn style room (for the private hospital room); 2) the parents apartment (also foriegn style); 3) The rich uncle's home (foriegn style house); 4) A classroom (not Japanese); 5) A night club. Enter the Yakuza...
