NIGHT WALKER UPDATE/ NEXT SHOOT (12TH)
Well, production is now in full-swing and even though
we lost a few weekends early on (due to rain) we are
now moving along as scheduled thanks to a lot af hard
work from a lot of great people...
Last weekend we shot the Subject #1 Subway and
Following scenes and shot the Bar Scene on tuesday
night. All went well here evern under difficult
conditions (Subway) and time constraints, we managed to get the
shots all but a few pick-ups that we can get later.
This weekend we will only shoot on Saturday evening and it looks like rain again so we have decided that if it is raining at 3pm we will postpone this shoot and take a well earned rest over the weekend and plan for the following week and shoots to come.
This shoot is a follows:
1. Outdoor/ The Yakuza followings in Roppongi and
Shinjuku (including pick-ups). Scenes are; 26, 28, 62,
78, & 79.
2. Cancelled
*IMPORTANT NOTE* If it is still raining at 3pm on
Saturday this shoot will be postponed!
Please check the script to see more about these scenes
and be fully prepared.

NIGHT WALKER UPDATE
Ok the good people of Night Walker... due to my hectic schedule over the last month (trying to plan and direct a movie and run my own business at the same time) I haven't had time to update this site for close to 3 weeks so here it is...
On Sun 9th of October we drove the Car Ride Scene route and checked the location of the Airport Scene. On Sat 15th we shot most of the major Crow Scenes and the Hospital Exterior and Establishing shots. Then we had 2 weekends of bad weather (lots of rain) which put us behind schedule, unfortunately.
When the rain finally cleared the following weekend we shot the Ikebukuro Breakdown Scene on the 22nd and the Uncle's Suicide Scene on the 23rd at Rob's (2nd camera) house... much thanks Rob! The weekend just gone (29th and 30th) we rehearsed and shot the First Amigo Scene (the Hooker) in Kabukicho which turned out to be a lot of fun and attracted a lot of attention (about 100 people formed a circle around the action!). The photos below come from these shoots and if you click on the title "NIGHT WALKER UPDATE" you will be taken to the NW photo site where you can view the rest of the photos taken from the beginning of production until now.
The next shoot will be this weekend (Sun 6th) in Oji/ Akabane which will involve the First Subject Following Scene and this shoot will be continued on Tuesday 8th of Nov at Rickey's bar also in Akabane. For more information see the Production Schedule or call the myself or the Assistant Director (Kaori Yoshida in Japanese).
ps. November and December will be our busiest shooting time with a majority of the scenes being filmed then and pick ups done through January. We hope to have production completed by the middle of January 2006 and move into Post Production in February 2006... if all goes to plan!
